This is where I'll be for the time being.

Toby is cosy.

The moment Toby leaves the house, he is already mourning his sofa. Every interaction with the outside world is just something to be endured until he can get back to it. The Coniston is waiting, and that's all that matters.

The Coniston is the kind of sofa that makes you feel entirely unguilty for lying down in the middle of the day. Low, settled, and holding the room like it has no intention of going anywhere. Which suits Toby just fine. It's got his back. Literally.

He's not grumpy, exactly. He just knows what he likes, and what he doesn't like is being bothered. It'd be best if we just let him be.

Cosy Compliments

The Chamfer Vase 1 and the Sanctuary Candle have earned Toby's silent approval. The vase is exactly where it ought to be, anchored and unassuming. Beside it, the candle stays lit, mostly because Toby's decided it's the right kind of light for staying put. There's a newspaper, half-read and abandoned, and a stack of books that's clearly settled in for the long haul.

No rush.

This is Toby’s cosy.
