BACK CUSHION
The Tay modular does not include loose back cushions or bolsters. Back support is provided by a pre-formed foam back, integrated into the upholstered structure for consistent comfort and a clean profile.
SEAT CUSHION
This product does not feature loose seat cushions. The upholstered seat is fixed, creating a streamlined modular chair design with even support across the seating surface.
LEGS
The chair stands on solid oak legs, offering a natural timber base that complements the upholstered form while maintaining a grounded, architectural appearance.
FRAME
The frame is constructed from solid hardwood timber, doweled, glued and screwed for strength and durability. This solid hardwood frame provides long-term structural stability and support for modular use.
SPRING SYSTEM
The seat uses 22” zig-zag springs on standard modular sections, delivering resilient support and comfort. Webbing is used on corner modules, allowing flexibility while maintaining structural integrity and even weight distribution.

All our pieces come with a 10 year guarantee on the frames.
MADE TO ORDER
All our pieces are made to order and take approximately 6-8 weeks to be finished and delivered.
FREE WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, and unpack it. If you ordered this product with other upholstered goods, your entire order will be scheduled for a single delivery.
RETURNS
We are happy to accept returns on your order within 30 days of delivery. If you aren’t in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee to offset the material costs that our partners incur.
Choose to upholster your piece in a fabric sourced by you. This allows for complete flexibility in colour, texture, and finish.

Once approved, you can arrange for your fabric to be delivered to our workshop.
4. Upholstery begins
We’ll craft your piece using your supplied material, keeping you updated along the way.
Orders using Customers’ Own Material are considered bespoke and are non-returnable once fabric is received by us.
Fabric suitability
Not all fabrics are suitable for upholstery. We’ll assess durability, composition, and weight before confirming.
Fabric quantities
Required meterage varies by pattern and piece. We’ll advise on the exact amount after your order.
Leads times
Production will begin once your fabric has been received and approved.
